With a license to hold your civil ceremony, The Barn at Alswick can host your day from sunrise to sunset. Surrounded by only your very nearest and dearest, it is sure to be a truly unforgettable experience.

Having a small, close knit team means you are always going to have contact with the same handful of coordinators, giving you the continuous support from a familiar face. We will get to know you, family, and friends throughout the journey, allowing you to feel you can come and chat to us about anything and know that we will always give our honest advice and opinions to aid towards making the best overall decisions for your day. Any questions you feel are ‘too silly’ to ask, we promise we have heard it all before!

Our Venue is licensed with Bishop Stortford registry office for your civil weddings, partnerships and naming ceremonies. The wedding service is carried out by the registrar, who you’ll need to contact and book directly. With a licence for civil ceremonies, you’re free to make the space your own at The Barn at Alswick. Its flexibility means your set up can be just as unique as you are.
